Morven’s Curator Corner: The Young Trustee Broadside

Ticket Prices
Free virtual program

Race to join us this October!

Morven’s Curator Corner invites you for a free behind-the-scenes look at new acquisitions, research, and exhibition development with Morven’s curatorial department.

The second program in the series will feature a new acquisition to Morven’s collection: an 1854 horse broadside connected to Commodore Robert Field Stockton. Curator Jesse Gordon Simons will discuss why the broadside is an important addition to the museum’s collection and further explore the Commodore’s relationship with horseracing and horse breeding. She will also share a surprising Southern connection discovered while researching the broadside.

The program will be held via Zoom webinar and is offered free of charge. Pre-registration is required in order to receive a link. The presentation will be recorded and shared with all registrants following the event.
