Morven is pleased to join the Princeton Public Library, Not In Our Town Princeton, and the Princeton Theological Seminary for an engaging panel of Princeton institutions that have researched their histories of involvement with slavery, discrimination or institutionalized racism, and developed strategic responses. This program will take place at the Princeton Public Library.

Close out Morven’s 20th anniversary with our annual winter fundraising event, the Festival of Trees Winter Garden Party. This year’s event celebrates the Festival’s theme “Deck the Halls with Matzo Balls!” inspired by Governor Hughes’ family tradition. Hear from Governor Hughes’ daughter Honey Hughes, explore the museum’s display of trees, enjoy drinks and food around the fire pit, and so much more.

Explore the powerful gift of being an appreciator with kindness ambassador, wellness coach, and author Tracey Gates. In this workshop, Tracey will guide attendees in how to create a more meaningful and abundant life, sharing stories and the experience of writing unexpected letters of appreciation. Morven is thrilled to present this workshop in partnership with the Princeton Public Library as part of Arts & Health Mercer.

Join Morven and the Princeton Public Library for So You Think You Know Civics? This series of hybrid public programs unpacks big questions about the past and present of the U.S. government, and how we can make change in our democracy. Our speaker for the fifth and final program in the series, What is Political Leadership? is Saladin Ambar Senior Scholar at Eagleton’s Center on the American Governor and Professor of Political Science at Rutgers University-New Brunswick.

Arranged by The Practitioners of Musick and taking place in Morven’s Stockton Education Center, the event will reimagine an actual concert and dance that took place in Princeton on August 22, 1774 at the “Sign of the College” tavern.
