Like escape rooms and puzzles? You’ll love Morven’s Live History Weekend, where your task is to solve a mystery in the historic mansion before the clock runs out!

Built in the 1750s for Founding Father Richard Stockton,
Morven Museum & Garden has been home to generations of the Stockton family, welcomed illustrious guests (from George Washington to Althea Gibson), was modernized in the 1930s when industrialist Robert Wood Johnson, Jr (of Johnson & Johnson) moved in, and served as NJ’s first governor’s mansion. Dozens of enslaved people and servants lived at the site as well. All of this is documented in the museum—and now some of those people have stepped out of their exhibits and come back to life!

You have 45 minutes to help them! Solve the puzzle so they can get back to their time. Get clues from the exhibits and from interacting with figures like the fabulist Helen Hamilton Shields Stockton, Civil War veteran Samuel Witham Stockton, and Robert Wood Johnson, Jr., among others. But it may not be easy…not everyone may be telling the truth.

This fun and unique event is at Morven for one weekend only!
