NOVEMBER Afternoon Tea With the Secret Tea Room

Travel back in time with an enchanting afternoon Cream Tea service in Morven’s historic Garden Room. Your ticket includes an optional tour of the museum with one of Morven’s knowledgeable docents.

Travel back in time with an enchanting afternoon Cream Tea service in Morven’s historic Garden Room. Experience a tea service within the walls of an over 200-year old mansion overlooking the museum’s gardens.

The Secret Tea Room takes particular pride in its collection of chinaware, which wonderfully complements the Georgian architectural style of Morven. Upon arrival, you will be offered a menu of fine teas and infusions. Your choice of tea will be brewed to perfection and served along with freshly baked scones, tea sandwiches, a delectable dessert, and a sparkling drink.

Engage with the stories of Morven’s past before you sit down to tea. Your ticket includes an optional tour of the museum with one of our knowledgeable docents.

NOTE ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY: Morven's elevator will be closed during this program for repair work. Parts of the museum's first floor and the entirety of the second floor are accessible by stairs only. The Afternoon Tea program is held on the first floor and will require traversing 3 to 4 steps with railings.

RESERVATIONS: (For adults and children ages 13+) Seatings are 90 minutes each and limited to 20 people per seating. Pre-registration is required. A 10% gratuity for your server is included in tea pricing. 

DOCENT-LED TOURS: will be offered at 11:00 a.m. for the 12:00 p.m. seating and at 1:00 p.m. for the 2:15 p.m. seating. 

DIETARY AND SEATING REQUESTS: When registering for this event, please make a note in the participants box on the checkout page if there are dietary restrictions and seating requests for your party. This must be communicated to us 48 hours before the event. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available (we cannot offer a dairy free or vegan alternative). We will do our best to accommodate seating requests. Due to the size of the room, parties of 1 to 3 people may be seated with other guests.

CANCELLATIONS: If you need to cancel your reservation, 48 hours notice is required to receive a refund.
